Mine will work fine all summer but when it starts to get cold I willl have to bleed the clutch master at the pipe plug that it sound like you have found. From what I've been read here I think the problem is the clutch slave cylinder letting air into the system and ending up at the master cylinders. I have a 3650 that has similiar problems. It could be that I will require an assistant to pump the pedal. I've tried that a few times, but due to lack of an assistant, I had to brace the pedal down with a 2x4. I don't have the service manual, but the operator's manual specifies bleeding the clutch slave cylinder at the bleeder screw on the left side of the transmission right in front of the solenoids that activate the power shift and 4WD. I have one for my 3505, I can see if there is any info in there when I go over to the shop, if you like. The right side brake is still a little spongy and I will probably need an assistant to bleed its slave cylinder, but the left side is good and solid.ĭoes anybody have any experience with these tractors and tips they would share on bleeding the clutch? The brakes, on the other hand hand, have firmed up better than ever before. I haven't been able to get it to firm up yet.? I've bled the top of the master cylinder several times with the plug on the side, and I've bled the slave cylinder several times with the bleeder on the right side of the transmission. So I rebuilt the clutch master cylinder and now I'm having difficulty bleeding that system. The clutch always worked perfectly, though. There is a common line across the top to the brakes' master cylinders and I think this was how the air was getting introduced into the brakes. It turns out that my clutch master cylinder was leaking. I took both brakes' master cylinders apart and found nothing wrong, plugged off the lines going to the slave cylinders and it still didn't work right. I think I've finally solved the intermittent brake failure on my tractor. MF 3545 brakes Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1
